I have recently subscribed to one of the best graphic design magazines that I’ve ever picked up - HOW Magazine. This is a definite recommend for any graphic designer, web designer or just to have laying around the ad agency.

5 Mistakes To Running a Business

I don’t know how many of my readers actually have an iPhone as I didn’t before two weeks ago. I’m a Blackberry kinda guy, but I decided to try out the iPhone and I’m glad I did. Although there are a few kinks in the software that I don’t like, theres a lot of perks that I love.

For those of you who do have an iPhone, there is a great program out there called “Marketing Profs” inwhich I read on a daily basis for some hints, tips and tricks to the business world. It’s basically a blog, but available directly to your iPhone via an application.

Anywho… today on MarketingProfs, I read an article about 5 Dumb Mistakes that you need to avoid when starting and running a small business…. most of these are common knowledge to most of us, but for someone just getting their feet wet, they’re golden. Read more

It’s a wonder how much influence the media really does have on our society’s outlook on issues such as politics. Although most media outlets and reporters try to sway their readers to one side or another, it’s not always the designer’s way of seeing things.
There are many sites for us designers to get creative ideas from and get inspired by others work as well as posting some of your own, which I highly recommend as it helps others.

New blog

Well, this is my new blog everyone! Recently my server was hacked onto and a lot was changed and deleted…which basically gave me the motivation to do some restructuring that I’ve been putting off.

Anywho, look forward to a lot of information about design and marketing. I’ll be writing from my iPhone but mostly from the computer.
